Creating connections
It is the vicious cycle that many young people face when transitioning from study to the workforce. A job requires years of experience, while young people haven’t had an opportunity to gain the experience needed.
The Youth Partnership was formed to help young people make the successful transition from school to work or further education. Through our ongoing relationships with employers across Sydney, we coordinate work placements for students studying Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses as part of their HSC.
Our programs help students prepare to find meaningful employment, allow employers to increase their resources and provide support for teachers.

We make organising work placements easier, from registering classes and sourcing opportunities to allocating placements and preparing students to be work placement ready. Our team also offers additional support for students through Career Preparation workshops, mock interviews, industry tours and tailored professional development programs designed to build your skills and confidence.

Our programs give businesses the opportunity to mentor young people, help them learn and develop valuable workplace skills, and assist your team while getting to know potential future employees.
